No. Truespeed does not impose data caps or engage in throttling. We believe in providing fully unrestricted access to the internet on every plan.
The vast majority of our packages are available with no contract. In rare cases where a contract is offered, it exists only to reduce costs for the subscriber — never to lock you in against your interests.
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Simply contact our sales team at websales@truespeed.ca or call (613) 865-7733 option 1.

Since most of our plans are contract-free, you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice and no penalty. Just call or email us and we'll take care of it.
Pricing & Billing
No. Truespeed prides itself on transparent, honest pricing. The price listed on our plans is what you pay, plus applicable taxes. There are no surprise fees, activation charges, or price hikes hidden in the fine print.
Our pricing is already competitive and honest — we don't inflate prices to offer fake bundle savings. However, internet customers receive a genuine, permanent $5 monthly discount on their Truespeed phone plan as a loyalty benefit.
Bills are emailed to you monthly. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and pre-authorized bank debit. To update your payment method, call or email our billing team.
You can either rent a compatible modem from us or purchase your own. Rental and purchase options are available — our team can advise which modem works best with your plan.
TV & Phone
We offer three live streaming TV packages: Skinny (52+ channels, $25/mo), Loaded (96+ channels, $55/mo), and Fully Loaded (114+ channels, $67.50/mo). All packages include a digital PVR for recording.
Yes. We handle the number porting process with your current provider. Porting typically takes 5–10 business days and is free of charge. Call or email to get started.
Yes, Truespeed telephone service operates over VoIP (Voice over IP). It works over your internet connection and includes residential and business options with advanced calling features.

Our local team resolves most issues same-day. For outages, calling is always the fastest option. We aim to respond to email tickets within one business day.
Download the Splashtop SOS app from sos.splashtop.com, then call our support line. Our technician will connect securely to your device to diagnose and fix the problem in real time.
Access your email at webmail.truespeed.ca. For client setup issues (Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.), contact support@truespeed.ca with your account username and we'll send the correct server settings.
