Secured Endpoint
Every workstation, protected and watched
- SentinelOne endpoint detection and response
- Automatic threat isolation
- 24/7 monitoring and alerting
- Monthly health reporting
- Best for: teams that need security cover first
Patching, endpoint security, firewalls, backups, Microsoft 365 and the everyday support your team needs - run by the same Brockville company that runs your connection. One provider, one bill, one number to call when something breaks.
The Reasons People Call Us
Most businesses do not go looking for an IT provider until something forces the issue. These are the ones we hear most.
Updates get postponed for months because there is never a good time, and the machines quietly drift years out of date until one of them is the way in.
One person in the office has become the unofficial help desk on top of their real job, and everything stops when they are away.
Calls go to voicemail, tickets sit for days, and nobody can explain what is actually running on your network or who has the passwords.
Something is backing up somewhere, but nobody has restored from it in living memory - which means you do not have a backup, you have a hope.
Renewal forms now ask about endpoint protection, MFA and patch cadence, and answering honestly has become uncomfortable.
The internet, the phones, the server, the website and the software are five companies who each say the problem is one of the other four.
The Whole Stack, Not Just the Bits That Broke
Managed IT means we are responsible for keeping things working, not just for showing up after they stop.
Day-to-day support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones and the software your team actually uses. Remote first, on-site when it needs hands.
SentinelOne endpoint detection and response on every managed machine, with threats isolated automatically rather than waiting for someone to notice.
Operating system, firmware and application patching on a schedule, tested and applied for you - including the firewall, which is the one everyone forgets.
FortiGate firewalls with unified threat protection, plus switches, Wi-Fi coverage and VLAN design. We run networks for a living.
Licensing, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive - set up properly, with multi-factor authentication turned on and staff onboarding and offboarding handled.
Server and workstation backup with restores actually tested, so the day you need it is not the day you find out it was silently failing.
Advice on what to buy, sourcing it, imaging it and retiring the old kit securely. No commission games - we tell you when the cheaper option is fine.
We deal with your line-of-business software vendors, your telecom carriers and your hardware suppliers so your staff stop being the go-between.
A plain-language view of what needs replacing, what it will cost and when - so IT spending stops arriving as a series of emergencies.
Priced Per Device, Not Per Guess
You pay for what we actually manage. Count your machines, servers and firewalls and the number is knowable before you sign anything.
Every workstation, protected and watched
Firewalls, switches and network gear
Proactive care for the machine that matters
| Service | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly remote critical patching | $50 / device / mo | Critical patches reviewed and applied every week on a schedule you approve. |
| Firewall critical patching | $20 / mo | The device on the edge of your network kept current. The one nobody else updates. |
| FortiGate 60F threat protection | $499.99 / year | Unified threat protection subscription - intrusion prevention, web filtering and antivirus at the edge. |
| Firewall configuration update | $100 | One-off rule, VPN or policy changes when your setup needs to change. |
| Software & security update program | $200 / mo | Whole-environment update management. Billed $2,400 annually. |
| Static IP address | $19.95 / mo | For VPN endpoints, remote access and anything that needs a fixed address. |
All prices +HST. Device counts are confirmed during the free IT review before anything is quoted, and project work outside a plan is quoted in writing first.
What Happens When You Call
Targets we hold ourselves to during business hours, Monday to Friday. Emergency cover outside those hours is arranged per client.
| Severity | Looks like | We respond |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | Whole site down, server offline, suspected breach, no phones or internet. | Within 1 hour |
| High | A team or department blocked, shared drive or line-of-business app unavailable. | Within 4 hours |
| Normal | One user affected, a device misbehaving, software questions. | Same business day |
| Scheduled | New machine setup, staff onboarding, planned changes and projects. | Booked to suit you |
Response means a human being who can help has picked up your issue - not an automated ticket number.
The First Ninety Days
Switching IT providers sounds disruptive. Done properly, your staff should barely notice.
We walk your site, inventory what you have, and tell you what we find - including the things you will not enjoy hearing. You get the findings in writing whether or not you hire us.
Documentation, admin credentials, licence records and vendor contacts collected in one place. If your previous provider is unresponsive we handle that too.
Monitoring and endpoint protection deployed, backups verified with a real test restore, multi-factor authentication turned on, and the worst of the patch backlog cleared.
Consistent builds, naming and access control. Old accounts closed, licensing right-sized, firewall rules cleaned up and documented.
A written technology plan: what is aging out, what it costs, and when to do it. Reviewed with you twice a year, in plain language.
Calling Someone When It Breaks vs. It Not Breaking
Hourly break-fix support looks cheaper right up until the week it is catastrophically not.
| Where it matters | Call someone when it breaks | Truespeed Managed IT |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Unpredictable. A bad month is a very expensive month. | A fixed monthly figure you can put in a budget. |
| Patching | Happens when someone remembers. | On a schedule, applied and verified. |
| Sécurité | Whatever came with the machine. | Managed endpoint detection with automatic isolation. |
| Backups | Assumed to be working. | Verified with test restores. |
| Incentives | Your provider earns more when things break. | We earn the same either way, so we would rather it worked. |
| Knowledge | Lives in one person, undocumented. | Documented, and the documentation is yours. |
| Your connection | A separate company to blame. | Same company. The finger-pointing has nowhere to go. |
What You Get That a National Provider Cannot Sell You
We inventory your devices, check your patch and backup state, and give you the findings in writing - yours to keep whether you hire us or not.
Probably not. Plans are priced per device, so a five-person office pays for five devices. The businesses that get hurt worst by an outage or a ransomware incident are usually the small ones, because there is no spare capacity to absorb it.
No. Managed IT stands on its own and we support clients on other carriers. It is simpler when we run both - one company owns the whole path - but it is not a condition.
That is common and it works well. We take the parts nobody has time for - patching, monitoring, backup verification, firewall management - and your internal person keeps doing what they are good at with proper backup behind them.
Credentials live in an access-controlled password manager, administrator accounts are separate from day-to-day accounts, and access is logged. Everything is documented in your name so you can revoke our access at any point.
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons people call. We will tell you honestly which answers you can currently give truthfully and what it would take to change the rest. We will not help anyone tick a box that is not true.
Hardware, software licences and major project work are quoted separately - a server replacement or an office move is a project, not a support ticket. Third-party software your vendor has to fix is coordinated by us but resolved by them.
Support plans run month to month. The Fully Managed Device and Managed Server plans are annual with automatic renewal, and that is stated on the plan card rather than buried in a schedule.
You take your documentation, your licences and your accounts with you, and we will hand off to your next provider properly. We would rather be chosen every month than trap anyone.
No obligation and no pitch - we inventory what you have, tell you what we find, and you keep the report either way.
